It's a sad day here at the Casa. Our little Simon passed away this morning rather suddenly. He was only three years old and so full of life, it's hard to believe he went so quickly. The hardest part was watching him take his last breath and not being able to help him. Rest in piece, Simey. We will miss you dearly.

So sorry to hear this. I've been through this with a very special cat named Duncan. He died suddenly of heart failure at 9 1/2 years of age. One minute he was fine, the next he was taking his last breathe right in front of me. I still think about it, and it happened almost ten years ago.

I still have his nephew, Tazz. He'll be 18 in April. I'm not sure how much longer he'll be around. Last night he was eating out of his food bowl and just fell over into his water bowl and got soaked. It was actually kind of funny, poor old man. His back legs don't work very well these days.

Sorry to hear that Bob. I agree, pets are such special parts of our lives it's very hard to let them go.
